Job Description:
The Rentals Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and performance of the rental warehouse, including the quality management system and security. In addition, the role is accountable for achieving company objectives (customer satisfaction, accuracy, and on-time deliveries), productivity standards, and cost control goals.
IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Operations:
+ Develop and department leads to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the warehouse.
+ Oversee all rentals warehouse departments including receiving, storing, shipping, returned goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure client requirements are met.
+ Oversee job assignments, attendance and staffing schedules for their teams.
+ Collaborate on managing long-range staffing needs based on sales forecasts and input from senior leadership.
+ Focus on continuous improvement and make recommendations to senior leadership on programs to improve operations.
+ Develop a space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and service standards.
+ Ensure current and accurate inventory control for all rentals.
Equipment/Safety:
+ Ensure that procedures are in place for the efficient operation and utilization of all warehouse equipment.
+ Direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
+ Provide safety instruction to personnel as needed.
+ Report all work-related injuries and complete necessary documentation.
+ Ensure the security of the facility, employees, and contents.
Relationships:
+ Continually maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all external and internal clients.
+ Audit operations to ensure service standards are being met.
+ Meet with peers and senior leadership to discuss performance against KPIs as necessary.
+ Act at the direction of the Director of Warehouse Operations on client’s specific requests.
+ Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with direct reports.
+ Attend management meetings and providing metrics to the management team.
+ Track and maintain operational performance metrics.
Information Technology:
+ Provide input for system modifications to support the efficient operations of the warehouse.
+ Remain knowledgeable on trends in warehouse technology and equipment and make recommendations as necessary.
+ Implement, maintain, and improve warehouse automation programs.
Quality:
+ Maintain processes and work instructions for all areas of responsibility.
+ Create corrective and preventative actions as required.
+ Respond to corrective and preventative actions as required.
+ Develop plans for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
Housekeeping:
+ Ensure neat, clean, and organized personal work area.
+ Ensure neat, clean, and organized internal and external warehouse facility.
+ Any additional duties assigned by leadership.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
+ Minimum completion of associate degree in general business or equivalent years of work experience.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of previous work experience within a warehouse supervisory/management role
+ A comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations is necessary.
+ A working knowledge of warehousing and transportation management systems is required.
+ A broad range of management skills is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
+ Must be able to provide and receive innovative, creative, and helpful feedback for team growth and productivity.
+ Must be able to communicate effectively within the organization, with departments throughout the company, and with partners across the organization.
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have a strong personal commitment to exceeding client expectations.
+ Must exhibit a leadership style that empowers coaches, mentors, and fosters a cohesive team environment.
+ Must be successful in managing effective deployment of resources, systems, and personnel to enable achievement of organizational objectives.
+ Skills in mathematics, spreadsheets, and personal computers are vital.
+ Verbal fluency in Spanish highly preferred
+ Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
+ Ability to handle physical workload – job requires repetitive lifting, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in hot/weather conditions.

This position is salaried. The ideal candidate must be flexible, especially during peak seasons.
+ Monday through Friday (off season) Min of 50hrs a week
+ Weekends required.
