
It is no secret that planning a corporate event in the summer can be a challenge in Houston. When our client reached out for our full-service event planning, we gladly stepped up to the plate. Our Swift + Company event planners put together a fabulous employee appreciation event at the Sugar Land Skeeter’s Constellation Field for over 600 guests.
The outdoor area of the event had plenty of seating and photo opportunities including a corporate branded baseball and custom vinyl light towers. The outdoor seating consists of cocktail tables covered with our fabulous tropical stripe linen. An air conditioned tent creates a much needed an oasis from the notorious Houston heat for this outdoor corporate event.
Inside the tent, there is explosion of summer colors and patterns. For instance, custom color wrapping makes the round Avenue bar the center of attention of the summer celebration. In addition to the bright summer decor and to drive the theme further, bronzed baseball player “statues” made a fun photo opp!
Swift + Company Flowers custom created these show stopping baseball themed arrangements complete with baseball bat stands. The theme carries through to the flower arrangements at the lounge areas.
Swift + Company Catering provided refreshing welcome mock-tails that were kid approved! Our Texas Cooler (prickly pear, lemonade, fresh mint and soda) is always a hit. No detail was left unfinished! For example, beverage napkins with popular baseball sayings created a lighthearted atmosphere. Our kitchen re-created stadium favorites that had the guests raving. On the menu: buttermilk chicken drumettes, nacho bar with seasoned ground beef and verde chicken, parmesan pommes frites, fruit en brochette and seasonal vegetables crudites. To top off the delicious menu, there was a cookie car and Popfancy Pops with toppings.
