Thanksgiving is around the corner, and we are so excited to create a tablescape that is elegant, yet easy to recreate! This is one of our favorite holidays at Swift + Company because it encompasses all of our favorite things; delectable food, the smell of turkey baking in the oven, pumpkins, fall tablescapes, stunning flowers and sitting down at the table with friends and family! When deciding the aesthetic of this shoot, we were inspired by the warm colors of fall with pops of gold, orange and cobalt blue. We wanted to incorporate some of our new favorite rental items, such as our new farm table and our Melodia glassware to make this look warm and inviting. We brought in pops of blue by featuring our Corsica china and Gala glassware in cobalt blue. Seasonal pumpkins with white calligraphy were at each setting to give a personal touch.

Down the center of the table we placed cracked pomegranates, grapes, pears and artichokes to add a twist of interesting textures and colors to the centerpiece.

If you are hosting a dinner, whether it is for a “Friendsgiving” or having your family over, here are some tips that will help your evening be a success!

Thanksgiving Entertaining Tips:

+ Set the table the night before.
+ If hosting at your home, consider the “feel” of your home when choosing décor elements and flowers; you still want guests to feel like they are at YOUR home!
+ Flowers and greenery can totally transform your table. Thanksgiving suggestions: small gourds, low fall flowers, lots of candles, copper, organic elements and game bird feathers.
+ Don’t forget your place cards! This is an easy way for your guests to know where they are sitting and gives a personalized touch at each place setting.
+ Start prepping the food early. Plan a menu that is disaster proof with simple, yet dynamic dishes.
+ Choose foods which are fresh and in season. The food will taste better and will cost less.
+ Have cocktails or wine ready to go before guests arrive.
+ Relax, have fun and enjoy the party!

Thank you to our talented vendor friends for participating in this styled shoot, and helping our vision come to life!
